STATE EXAMINATION ****************************************************************************************** * ****************************************************************************************** SE State Examination (SE) - Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy 1. Defence of the final bachelor thesis: - students present to the examination committee the decisive points and results of their b (recommended PowerPoint presentation, max. 7-10 minutes); - after the student's presentation, the thesis supervisor and subsequently the thesis oppo their evaluation; if the thesis opponent or advisor is not personally present at the thesi opinions are read out in full; - a public discussion between the student and the members of the examination board is foll 'closed' discussion of the final assessment, after which the student is notified of the fi NOTE: the opinions of the thesis supervisor and the thesis opponent are published in SIS a before the theoretical state examinations. A student who successfully passes the defence of his/her bachelor thesis continues in the theoretical examination immediately after the presentation of the bachelor thesis. A stude defend his/her thesis does not continue in the SE. 2. Theoretical SE The theoretical SE [ URL "https://ftvs.cuni.cz/FTVS-160-version1-szzk_bc_fyzioterapie_2016 of 4 subjects: Clinical Kinesiology, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Pathological Physiology an Medicine. The student draws one question (topic area) from each subject of the theoretical SE, which specified by the examination board. The student will answer the questions in the order determined by the examination board. Ea SE is assessed separately. If the student is not successful in the examination, he/she rep term of the SE only the subject he/she failed to pass successfully (according to the Study Regulations of UK FTVS). NOTE: despite failure in any part of the theoretical examination (except for the defence o thesis), students may continue in the practical part of the SE. 3. Practical SE in physiotherapy In the practical SE, the student demonstrates his/her knowledge, skills and abilities in t the clinical condition of the assigned patient. The student outlines, determines and appli physiotherapy methods in the design of therapy for a given patient (diagnosis is determine physician). The knowledge and skills to be tested are based on the Bachelor's degree progr Physiotherapy. Physiotherapy examination: 1. Practical examination (in the presence of the examining committee) - takes approximatel During the practical examination, the student will present and practically perform: - evaluation of the conclusions of the kinesiological examination; - designing goals and suggestions for therapeutic procedures; - application of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to a given patient. 4. Protocol - after fulfilling all the requirements of the practical SE, students submit t committee a written record describing the patient's history and the applied examination pr including their results. The written record is included in the SE protocol. 5. The result - evaluation of the student's performance is carried out by the examination announced on the same day as the practical SE.
