            The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University is accepting proposals f

            scientific conference SCIENTIA MOVENS 2025 with the subtitle Science in Motion, Motion in 
            will be held on 15 May 2025 on our campus.



            The conference targets at students of master's and doctoral study programes of our fakulty
            higher education institutions from the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The conference is them

            on the following areas:


            • Social, ethical, pedagogical and economic aspects of physical activities
            • Sport and sport performance
            • Health and healthy lifestyle

            • Biological and physiological aspects of sport

            Conference participants can present their research plans and projects at any stage of thei

            two ways:

            • Personal presentation

            • Poster session
            Proposals for the conference should be submitted by 31 March 2025. Acceptance notification
            12 April 2024. The capacity of the oral and poster sessions is limited.

            ABSTRACT (CZ | SK | ENG)
            (no more than 200 words) :


            • Name and surname, affiliation and contact person
            • Key words
            • Aim of the research or work

            • Theoretical or conceptual part
            • Research methods
            • Results and discussion


            A graphic summary (one page) is a compulsory part of the abstract.
            Poster submissions should be in print quality (resolution at least 300 dpi), PDF and A3 fo

            conference organiser will print and display the poster.

            ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
            Conference languages | CZ (SK) and ENG

            Conference fee | 400,- CZK; includes refreshments and abstract preparation fee
            Abstracts and posters will be compiled in electronic form prior to the conference.
            Presentations of individual participants at the conference will last 20 minutes (10 minute

            presentation and 10 minutes for discussion).
            The best papers may be awarded prizes and will be published in a scientific journal.
