Faculty Principles

The faculty is making a community that shares and promotes the principles of a sustainable and healthy lifestyle at every age, with physical activity and sport as a natural part of it.

Our activities involve people of all gender identities and generations - from children to the elderly - and across society: from top athletes to the general public to people with physical or other disabilities.

We work with partners from the education, research, non-profit and commercial sectors, including professional and international organisations. Together we advance teaching, science and research and support the transfer of knowledge and technology into practice.

Education and Professional Training

We focus on preparing highly educated professionals in the fields of physical education, sport, recreation health education, and movement activities
We support the quality and development of study programs in all forms of education, responding to modern trends and enhancing graduates’ employability
We involve practitioners in teaching and emphasize increasing interdisciplinarity

Research, Science and Innovation

We support scientific and research activities and their practical application
We promote collaboration with experts, the involvement of international partnerships, and the sharing of resources both domestically and abroad

Healthy Lifestyle and Physical Activity as a Core Value

We are building a community that shares and promotes the principles of a sustainable and healthy lifestyle with physical and sporting activities as an integral part
In this context, physical activity is understood not only as athletic performance but also as a component of health, prevention, and personal development
