We invite all athletes and movement enthusiasts to the Sports Ball, organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University with partners for its students, graduates, and the broad sports public. This year's edition will be themed around the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris, to which we will dance through the night with Vavřinec Hradílek and Kateřina Bartunkova Hrstkova, finalists of the Star Dance competition. Katka and Vavra will showcase some of their dance skills, and those who wish can learn a few new dance tricks under their guidance.
The evening will be hosted by sports presenter, athlete, and FTVS graduate Kateřina Nekolná. The music will be provided by the band Živý Jukebox with Honza Roušar and DJ Gezicht. Throughout the evening, there will also be performances by FTVS students and graduates showcasing dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics. You can look forward to Join New Spirit AllStars, the Czech and European champions in sports cheerleading, Natálie Kadlečková with her gymnastics performance, Barbro Mahenová and Jan Havíř, Czech champions in figure waltzing, and the dance group Moving Point. And we will certainly prepare some more surprises.
Partners of the Sports Ball include the Czech Anti-Doping Committee, the Association of Sports Federations of the Czech Republic, and the French Embassy along with the French Cultural Institute.
