Our academics regularly participate in various conferences and workshops worldwide.  At the same time, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport also actively contributes to the accummulation and transfer of knowledge in the fields of sports, health, and related sciences by organizing its own event.

SCIENTIA MOVENS conference has a tradition of nearly three decades. The conference is aimed mainly at students of master's and doctoral study programs of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University and other higher education institutions from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The Health Physical Education Conference will celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2025. The conference offers a combination of expert lectures and practical demonstrations of individual specialized exercises. Demonstrations of exercises are included in both the morning thematic blocks as well as at the afternoon program introducing new techniques and procedures for working with children, seniors, people with specific needs and athletes.

In August 2025 our faculty also hosts an important international event – global meeting of the International Rock Climbing Association.
