Calling All Students! Become a Representative of Charles University at the 4EU+ Sport Event 2025!
The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University is excited to announce the upcoming 4EU+ Sport Event 2025, taking place from April 2nd to April 4th, 2025, in Prague. This event is part of the 4EU+ Alliance, a partnership of eight leading European universities dedicated to fostering international collaboration, interdisciplinary learning, and student mobility. The alliance includes Heidelberg University, Sorbonne University, University of Copenhagen, University of Milan, University of Warsaw, University of Geneva, Paris Panthéon Assas University, and Charles University.
About the 4EU+ Sport Event 2025
This event is designed to strengthen cross-university collaboration through sports, reflecting the alliance’s commitment to an integrated European university system. The goals of the event include:
Promoting health and well-being by encouraging physical activity as a core part of student life.
Encouraging interdisciplinary exchange by connecting sport with fields like health sciences, social sciences, and digital innovation.
Fostering inclusivity and mobility by bringing students together in an informal and active setting.
Building a shared 4EU+ identity, creating a collective experience and a sense of belonging to the alliance community.
What to Expect?
Participants will engage in a variety of activities, including:
Water sports and climbing at the Troja Outdoor Sports Centre
Combat sports sessions
Esports competitions
Fun gymnastics activities
Tour de Prague
When?
2.4. 14:00 – 18:00 Water sport activities and Climbing at Troja Outdoor Sports Centre; from 18:00 dinner at Troja, networking
3.4. 10:00 – 12:30 Combat sports at FTVS; 13:30 – 15:30 Gsport programme at FTVS
4.4. 9:30 – 11:00 Gymnastics at Nosticova hala in Prague 1; lunch at restaurant (tbc); Tour de Prague after lunch in the afternoon hours
