SCIENTIA MOVENS CONFERENCE

The Scientia Movens Conference, which took place at our faculty on May 15, 2025, offered participants—primarily master's and doctoral students from FTVS UK and other universities from the Czech Republic and Slovakia—many scientific insights and inspiring encounters.

Under the subtitle "Science in Motion, Movement in Science," the conference focused on a wide range of topics, including social, ethical, pedagogical, and economic aspects of physical activities, sports performance, health and prevention, as well as biological and physiological aspects of sport. The program featured lectures from prominent speakers, practical workshops, and sessions dedicated to current research in sports science, providing over twenty active participants with valuable feedback for their scientific careers.

Among the main speakers were Ryo Koshizawa, a scientist from Nihon University in Japan specializing in neuroscience and sports science, and Grzegorz Tadeusz Mikrut, an expert in sports management, sports economics, and marketing. The conference also offered practical workshops, such as a qualitative research session led by Matouš Veselský and a data simulation in sports science conducted by Roman Malíř. The entire day concluded with a ceremonial closing at the Creative Hub, where participants had the opportunity to establish valuable contacts.
