We are pleased to announce that the final conference of the SUPPORTER project on 4–5 June 2025 at Charles University!
Over the past years, the SUPPORTER, has supported sports higher education institutions in Central Eastern Europe in developing Intersectional, Innovative, Inclusive, and Impactful Gender Equality Plans (4I-GEPs). As the project ends, this final event will bring together sports students, researchers, policymakers, and gender equality practitioners to reflect on and celebrate the knowledge and insights gained throughout this journey.
The conference will feature two distinct yet interconnected sessions, each highlighting a key dimension of advancing gender equality in higher education:
4 June 2025 16:00- 18:00 at Patriotic Hall of Carolinum, Ovocný trh 3, Prague 1.
This session offers students, staff and all stakeholders involved in higher education and the sports ecosystem an opportunity to understand better the various forms that gender-based violence can encompass, its multiple forms, and the importance of early intervention.
5 June 2025 9:30- 17:15 at Patriotic Hall of Carolinum, Ovocný trh 3, Prague 1.
This full-day event will showcase inspiring practices from various contexts, including the sports ecosystem examined within the SUPPORTER project, agricultural higher education institutions, and other research settings in sister projects.
By examining these cases, participants will understand the challenges and opportunities associated with Gender Equality Plans implementation.
