The Department of Swimming, Aquatics and Technical Sports provides teaching of subjects according to the FTVS study programs, scientific and publishing activities, additional activities in the fields of swimming, diving, canoeing, rowing, windsurfing, yachting, water tourism, downhill and cross-country skiing, biathlon, shooting, parachuting and other related sports.

Teaching is carried out in the form of compulsory, compulsory optional, elective subjects and lifelong learning subjects. Scientific activity is carried out in the form of basic, applied and contract research with the maximum possible use of project activity.

The aim of the department is to improve the activities of associations in the form of scientific support. It is important for us to involve students in research and project activities during the preparation of final theses, and thus also the preparation of educated experts.
