The Department of Sport Games (DSG) consists of the Department of Sport Games and the Department of Sport Training. The DSG provides teaching of theoretical and practical courses at the Bachelor and Master level of study and also closely cooperates with the Centre for Lifelong Learning. DSG also provides creative activities according to the relevant rules of Charles University, the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, respectively.

The DSG systematically profiles students into the role of experts in general in sport training and specifically in teaching sport games in school environment and also in the field of organized sports and other recreational activities. Graduates acquire professional knowledge on how to plan, design, organize and evaluate teaching programs taking into account possible age, performance and social differences. Graduates of the sports specializations have the opportunity to further develop their knowledge and experience through long-term coaching in sport clubs.
